Our client is a leading Kaupapa Māori organisation providing residential care services to individuals with intellectual disabilities. Operating across 51 houses with a 24/7 care model, they are committed to delivering exceptional support and care in a culturally appropriate manner, ensuring their clients lead fulfilling lives within their communities. 

About the role

Reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner, you will be managing and executing high volume recruitment for care and support worker roles.  Occasionally you will also need to hire for head office administration staff.  A crucial part of this role is ensuring that the experience is positive for the candidates and meeting the overall needs of the business.

Duties

  • Coordinate and process end to end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, background checks and onboarding.
  • Utilise Immigration accreditation and support applicants to enable this.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements.
  • Create a diverse sourcing strategy to attract qualified candidates.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline.
  • Analyse and monitor metrics to improve the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate and facilitate candidate interviews, assessment and improvement areas.
  • Compliance with employment law and regulations.
  • Provide reporting to senior management.

Skills and experience

You will be an experienced recruiter, with lots of sourcing strategies in your tool belt.  Ideally, you have worked in high volume recruitment previously, and have been in the position where you have worked as an accredited employer.    This is a great role offering a great hourly rate.

  • Experience in volume recruiting preferably in the health sector.
  • Degree qualified
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Understanding of recruitment best practices, techniques and tools.
  • Understanding of Applicant Tracking systems
  • Ability to influence and create multiple working relationships.
